It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we have everything festive, winter, and holiday on our brains! With Christmas only two days away, we found it only fitting to recap our December Open House inspired by rustic winter wedding decor. Our design team always enjoys making these magical visions come to life!
First off, planning a rustic winter wedding can be a very economical choice, as winter provides us with many natural decorations. Think pinecones, cranberries, branches and more that can become beautiful decorative pieces! Plus it’s the season of joy, love, merriment, and we just love this time of year for weddings!
To tie our Open House into the theme of a rustic winter wedding, we featured many organic elements of wood and natural greens. We brought the forest indoors with an exposed wooden table as the sweetheart table staying warm by the fireplace, wooden chargers at place settings which were a fun find, and pops of red cranberries for a bit of festive cheer. We set the tone for sophistication by adding simple elements such as golden antlers and faux fur, and since we’re all dreaming of a white Christmas here in the Arizona desert, one of our talented DJ’s surprised us with fun falling snow lighting effects! Picture peeking into the Manor to see the tree glistening in the light of the fireplace and snowflakes dancing upon the walls. It was a magical night for all who joined! Winter weddings often come with chilly nights, so why not add a wine barrel fireplace for guests to stay toasty warm! As if that was not enough to keep our guests warm, the Hot Chocolate station was the hit of the night! Complete with crushed peppermint, whipped cream, and mini marshmallows, it was a delightful winter treat! Christmas at the Manor is easily one of our favorite times of year!To you and yours, the Stonebridge Manor team wishes you a very merry, bright, and joyful holiday season!
