Meet Mr. & Mrs. Charles Van Horn III! This lovely pair had love at first sight with Stonebridge Manor (we were their first and last venue they visited before booking with us!). We feel quite honored about this little fact and couldn’t help but share it. They declared their love for each other and became husband and wife in the presence of their friends and family in the Garden Pavilion on March 31, 2017.
From the beginning, the bride shared how important it was to them and their families to have a wedding day to remember. They wanted a classy, timeless, elegant , and fun wedding with little stress or worry about all the details that would make up their day. And we are pleased to share, as these pictures can attest, that we delivered exactly that!
Kimberlee shared with us that her and Chaz (Charles’ preferred name) dated for two years and were engaged for 9 months. Its easy to assume that this bride knew exactly what she wanted for her big day. Not only did she book the first venue she saw and fell in love with, BUT she also bought one of the first wedding gowns she tried on. Kimberlee’s gorgeous wedding gown was bought at Lillian Lottie Couture in Scottsdale and was custom designed just for her. It was truly stunning with all the intricate and delicate lace in the bodice.
Chaz had a great “wolf pack” that helped him and his bride have the best day ever. Honestly, I would have to say that these dudes were some of the coolest (and most considerate) groomsmen ever. They are looking pretty darn cool in this billiard’s room shot!
Kimberlee was surrounded by some of her favorite gals that helped her relax and enjoy every moment of her day. Dressed in champagne sequin gowns, these Bridesmaids shined!
“We didn’t even mind the intermittent sprinkles that fell as I walked down the aisle.”, Kimberlee happily shared. And we can safely assume that was because she was walking towards her forever, to say “I do” to the love of her life, surrounded by friends and family, and lush garden grounds. And how about the floral garland adorned on the gazebo above the couple?! It was the perfect touch to a perfect day!
We couldn’t help but share a picture of the bride and her mom, as this Mother of the bride(MOB) was a joy to work with. Carolyn was with her daughter every step of the way helping her create and bring to life her wedding day vision.
The couple had Piece of Cake bakery design their wedding cake to be all white with a metallic gold ” V”, adorned with fresh florals from the florist, Jan of Jan Dekker Designs. And they added cupcakes to their gourmet coffee station to have some extra little sweets for their guests. Why not? Coffee and cupcakes are the perfect combination after all!
This couple wanted their guests to have fun with taking pictures but went with a different route than a traditional photo booth. Thus, they brought in their own photo props and a custom sign to invite their guest to hashtag their pictures at #ValdezGetsVanHorn.
We hope you enjoyed this blog and these real wedding pictures from Kimberlee and Chaz’s wedding as much as we did! We wish Kimberlee and Chaz a lifetime of love, happiness, and dreams come true! Cheers!
